The Grand Mauritian Resort & Spa offers four meeting rooms that are bright, airy, and easily customizable to meet the specific needs of your meeting or event.

The large ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests and can be divided into two smaller conference areas, each with individual access and supporting technical facilities, including High Speed Internet Access.

Our meeting and event staff will ensure that your function is seamless and efficient, taking care to arrange superb catering services at your request. A fully equipped business centre is also available day and night.

The Babonne Ballroom is one of the largest in a Luxury Hotel on the island.

Babonne is our main Ballroom, which can also be divided to two seperate and smaller conference rooms, each with individual access and supporting technical facilities, including High Speed Internet access. The maximum capacity for a reception including staging and screen is 300 guests. To make your event a successfull one, the hotel proveides you with the newest technology and up-to-date Audio Visual equipment, such as the Bose sound system.

Our meeting and event staff will ensure that your function is seamless and efficient, taking care to arrange superb catering services at your request. A fully equipped business centre is also available day and night.

The room is 282 square meters (21.7 L x 13 W x 4.50 H) and can thus be used for a broad variety of occasions.

- Ceiling LCD projector with 3000 ansi lumen
- Projection Screen of 5 mtr wide by 4 meters height
- Internet connections with high speed
- 1 MB wireless or wired cabling
- 4 Wireless microphones and stands

In collaboration with our preferred Audio Visual partners we can customize your event to your needs.

The rental cost for the Babonne Ballroom is including all above mentioned Audio Visual materials, excluding internet connectivity.

The hotel offers various interesting locations for coffee breaks. Whether you fancy a tropical and floral set-up on the terrace of the meeting room for up to 25 guests, or live entertainment with live cooking stations under free form tents directly on the beach. There is no limit for the team of The Grand Mauritian to make your breaks as lively and refreshing as possible to ensure a successful continuation of your day.

If you are planning a full day meeting or conference, the hotel offers amazing events ranging from Incredible India to the Bare Foot Black Tie Beach Party to finish off a successful day. The team has created an outstanding variation of possible events to make your event being remembered.
